Recipe By mamacatnc UPSIDE DOWN GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE INGREDIENTS: 1 Can Flaked Coconut (I prefer to use the Frozen Coconut) 1 Cup Pecans (Chopped) 8 oz. Cream Cheese 1 Stick Margarine 1 Box Powdered Sugar 1 Box German Chocolate Cake Mix 1 9 x 13 Pan PREP: Butter or Spray Bottom of 9x13 Pan (Very well) Put coconut in bottom of pan, sprinkle 1 cup chopped pecans on top of coconut. Mix German Chocolate cake mix according to package directions, then pour over coconut and pecans. Soften 1 stick margarine and 8 oz cream cheese, mix together with 1 box powdered sugar, spoon over cake mix layer. I spread mine down the middle and spread out some, then spread some of the cake mix over it. Bake for 40 minutes at 350. Then serve from the pan.
